Objective: Redesign a book jacket using typography as the dominant design.
Results: I created a new dust jacket for my chosen book using ink, and wood type in the letterpress studio at the University of Minnesota, employing expressive typography and using complimentary typefaces to create a unified surface.
Notes: This project is a favorite of mine. I spent a lot of time playing with different textures, colors, and compositions in the letterpress studio and experimenting with type!
